POLICIES

Make-Up Policy and Illness:

  • Please do not send your child to a lesson/group class if they are feeling sick. We are making every effort to minimize the spread of germs and keep our students and faculty healthy.

  • One (1) private make-up lesson will be given to students if advance notice of at least 24 hours or more is given to the teacher.

  • Any lesson(s) missed due to illness can be taught over Zoom during the regular lesson day/time if the student is able. Otherwise, we will make every effort to make up some or all of the missed lesson(s) at another mutually agreed-upon time.

  • Any request to have a Zoom lesson for reasons other than those related to illness will be subject to the approval of the private teacher and the director.

  • We trust everyone to be honest and not take advantage of this flexible policy which is designed to keep everyone healthy and safe.

  • There are no make-ups for missed group classes.

  • Please contact us with any questions.

Recital Attendance:

All recitals and performances are an essential part of the SOTI curriculum and are therefore mandatory for all students.

Registration Agreement:

Registration fees pay for an entire semester. By taking your first lesson or class of the semester, you are agreeing to pay the entire amount set forth in full.

Marketing Materials:

Periodically we will take and use pictures/videos of Suzuki on the Island lessons and performances for promotional/marketing purposes (i.e., within the school, for social media, newspapers, and other periodicals). No names of students are included. Please let us know if you do not consent to having pictures/videos of your child(ren) used for such purposes.
